Tony Pulis has recently been very vocal in relation to how he wants to reinforce his squad and with the winter transfer window quickly edging nearer and nearer, Guochuan Lai will have to decide if he is willing to meet all the needs of Pulis who is trying to push West Bromwich Albion to the top spots of the Premier League but in order for this to happen, he might need to strengthen his team.

“There’s no doubt the commitment and honesty in the group is there. What we need is a little bit more quality, like Chadli. I’ve spoken to the Chinese owners, and that’s what we’ll try to do. I’ve put something towards them. We need to get more quality in rather than getting four or five players in. We need to get quality players in and build it from there. Because the spirit is there, the togetherness. We’re an older team and we need younger players with more quality to come into the group and help the group’’

“We’ve got a long season ahead of us and nobody knows that more than me. It will be tough, everybody’s fighting, whether it’s at the top or the bottom. It’s going to be a tough league this year.” West Bromwich Albion’s Tony Pulis said.

Nacer Chadli is one of the latest signings of West Bromwich Albion as the Premier League club signed the 27 year old Belgian midfielder on August 26 of 2016 for a price tag of £13 million and his impact in the English outfit is evident as Chadli has scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists in 7 matches.

This is a good example of a positive signing that West Bromwich Albion has recently made and Tony Pulis is hoping that their upcoming signings can also have a positive effect in the same season and help out the club in successfully accomplishing their objectives.
