WEST BROM SCOUTING REVEALED

West Brom chief Jeremy Peace has revealed how the scouting and transfer policy of the club has been overhauled.

Peace says there’s a more professional approach to both aspects of recruiting these days.

He told the Express & Star: “We had to get shrewder and smarter – and we are. We have wasted money in the past, a lot of money, but each time we learn from our mistakes.

“We know we will get the DVDs which will show players scoring wonderful goals to a background of stirring music.

Koren Urged to Stay

ROBERT Koren has been urged to stick by West Brom after earning praise from the club’s coaching staff for his conduct during the second-half of the season.

The Baggies midfielder cast doubt over his future earlier in the season after expressing disappointment over his lack of first-team action, not least in his favoured central midfield role.

Matters came to a head when the Slovenia national captain refused to shake Roberto Di Matteo’s hand when he was subbed during the 2-0 win against Scunthorpe.
