Premier League side West Bromwich Albion were knocked out of the second round of the EFL Cup by League One side Northampton Town on Tuesday, 23rd August 2016.
The Cobblers went ahead first through Zander Diamond. Brendam Moloney had sent a perfect cross for Diamond to guide into the back of the net with a well placed header. James McClean equalized, tying the score line at 1-1.
There are media reports that Stoke City might be interested in signing SaidoBerahino during the summer, but the price that they are offering might be posing problem.
Indeed, it is believed that Stoke City will be willing to sign the forward for a fee of only £5m.
With West Brom having refused offers of £20m from both Tottenham Hotspurs and Newcastle in recent times, it is hard to see SaidoBerahino leaving West Brom for such a low amount.

West Ham United are set to allow the transfer of Diafra Sakho to West Bromwich albion for £15 million. The deal will allow the prolonged deal of Saido Berahino to go through as he would be able to leave The Hawthorns.
The player has expressed his desire to leave the club since the last summer. If Sakho’s deal goes through, Berahino would be able to complete his move to either Stoke City or Crystal Palace.
West Brom manager Tony Pulis reckons that England may have the ability to finally win a major tournament since they go into the Euro 2016 with a lot of belief.
Tony Pulis has dismissed suggestions that the 2015-16 season has been a major disappointment for West Brom.

Head Coach for English outfit, West Bromwich Albion Football Club says he is happy to stay on with the team as he is been linked to take over at fellow English club, Newcastle united.
Current coach of the Newcastle squad, Rafa Benitez is believed to have clause in his contract that gives him the opportunity to resign his post if The Magpies relegate.
With less than 5 Premier League matches remaining, clubs in the English league are giving it everything they have to collect as many points as possible and there are a few squads that have been performing superbly in these final few weeks.
Winning the Premier League title in this season is out of the reach of Manchester City and this is a big blow for Manuel Pellegrini who is going through his last season as manager of the English club.
Franco Baldini is a 54 years old former player and current Technical Director of Tottenham Hotspur, he has been appointed with this job since June of 2013 but his time in White Hart Lane is reaching it’s end as Baldini will be sacked from his position when the summer transfer window finalizes in September 1st.

West Brom could be one of the latest clubs to fall under the hands of foreign investors, as it is understood that Jeremy Peace is currently in negotiations with investors from all over the world in order to sell his 88% stake in the club.
West Brom have never been in a better position after having been a regular Premier League outfit for the last few years. Keen to take advantage of this position,Peace is expected to get a good price if he sells in this market. However, the speculation has rendered the position of manager Tony Pulis unstable.
West Brom’s disappointing end of season form continued after the team lost 3-2 to relegation threatened Leicester City at home.
